Terms of Service

THIVIX ("we," "us") operates a service that provides AI-powered video captioning, editing, and text refinement tools. This page covers the rules for using it.

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for whatever happens under your account, so keep access to that Google account secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country — 13 at an absolute minimum, in line with Google's own account age policy.

We offer a limited free tier to test the editor. Upgrading to a paid Pro subscription gives you higher limits and full access. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles customer service regarding payments.

The free-tier limits are enforced per device as well as per account, specifically to stop the same person from creating new accounts to get around them. Trying to circumvent that is a violation of these terms and may get a device or account blocked.

You keep ownership of any video or audio you upload. You're confirming you have the right to upload and process it. Don't upload anything illegal, anything you don't have rights to, or anything that violates someone else's rights.

We use third-party AI APIs (Google Gemini) to generate transcripts, timing, and refine captions. Because AI systems make mistakes, we do not guarantee that the generated text will be 100% accurate or error-free. You are responsible for reviewing your captions before exporting.

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, as third-party API systems change constantly. In no event shall THIVIX's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 3 months.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless THIVIX Labs from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising out of your breach of these terms or your violation of any third-party rights (including uploading copyrighted material without permission).

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any legal claims must be brought in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

We are not liable for service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., server outages, hacking, third-party AI API changes). We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these terms.

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
