Privacy Policy

• Google account info — your name, email, and profile picture, when you sign in.
• IP address and basic device signals— used to enforce fair-use limits on the free tier and to help prevent abuse. This is the main reason we collect it; without it, the free tier couldn't exist.
• Usage data— how many AI processing minutes or requests you've used and when, so your account and any subscription you've purchased track correctly.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Paddle, our payment processor. We receive confirmation that you paid and for what, never your card details.
• The video and audio file itself, while it's being processed.

Google (to authenticate you), Paddle (to process payment), and Google Gemini (to transcribe audio, generate captions, and refine text grammar). Nobody else. We don't sell your data.

Our servers and processing backends are located in the United States. By using our service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in these locations.

Account and usage records for as long as your account exists. Uploaded video and audio files only for as long as processing takes — they are not kept afterward.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot promise or guarantee that hackers or unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security.

Email contact.caption@thivixlabs.com to request a copy of your data or to have your account and its data deleted. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have specific data protection rights under GDPR, including the right to access, delete, correct, or restrict the use of your personal data — the same email handles these requests.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use our service.

If THIVIX Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as a business asset. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

One cookie keeps you signed in. It's required for the service to work and isn't used for advertising or tracking you elsewhere.
